The Trust System is how Lengify helps students do their own work. It gives a teacher a
fuller picture of how a task was done, so they can look at anything that seems odd and decide
for themselves. Each student has a Trust score that starts at 100%.
The rules
For younger students
- Do your own work, in your own words.
- Don't copy from friends or from a computer.
- If you are not sure, ask your teacher.
- Your teacher is here to help you.
For older students
- Submit your own work.
- No copying from classmates, websites or AI tools unless your teacher says so.
- Leaving the page or pasting text is noted for your teacher.
- If you are unsure what is allowed, ask your teacher first.
What is noticed
- Leaving the page while working, and for how long.
- Pasting text into an answer.
- Copying text from the page.
- Time spent on a task, and how fast an answer was written.
- Characters and formatting that chat tools leave behind.
What is never done
- The clipboard is never read in the background. When text is pasted into an answer, what was pasted is saved so a teacher can see it.
- The Trust System never uses a camera or microphone.
- No AI judges the writing or claims to spot AI-written text.
- Nothing is decided automatically. A teacher looks at every concern, and families learn about accepted concerns on the report card.
